As drones become increasingly popular, people have been finding creative ways to use them. In a recent episode of “The Late Show,” Stephen Colbert discussed New Jersey’s alleged drone sightings with Jets wide receiver Antonio Brown. Using his patented brand of humor, the comedian compared the mystery objects to rats and Donald Trump.
Then, Colbert asked Brown what he thought about the drones, and he used another familiar meme to make the point: “I think they’re aliens, man.” Brown was clearly enjoying himself, but he wasn’t the only one joking around with the mystery. NFL star Aaron Rodgers also chimed in, addressing the reports on ESPN’s “The Pat McAfee Show.” On the program, he compared the drones to the mysterious objects that appeared over his Montclair home.
Apparently, Rodgers’ neighbors aren’t too happy about the drones in his backyard. The New York Times reported that some residents have complained about the machines, including a local who claims they’ve stolen his solar panels. The newspaper also cited an anonymous letter that claimed the drones had been tracking the family for months.
While it’s true that drones can capture some pretty amazing video footage, they don’t necessarily have a high-tech sense of humor.
